Hi, while I normally love Bluegriffon, it's started to hang/freeze/crash whenever I try to save a page I've edited. It will usually be fine saving one or two pages, but invariably freezes whenever I get to the second or third. I've been having to force quit and reopen the program and re-do the editing. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated! Thanks, Lynn
I am totally unable to reproduce this on Yosemite. I need more context
or I'll be forced to close that bug.
Just hang for me in the file dialog, try to open a file, or try to save a file.
(On MacOS), have to force quit.
Im having the exact same issue and it also occurs when you click elsewhere in the dialog box of "open file" and when importing images.
Very painful would be nice if it was resolved
I had this same problem with "Save As" also with version 2; I tried upgrading to 3.01 today and still have the problem. I am using OS/X 10.14.3
The problem specifically is that when I try to open a file for editing the program works fine and I can edit; but when I want to save it, using the "Save As" dialog hangs. At that point it shows the filename highlighted (blocked) but the dialog is totally unresponsive, so that I cannot change anything on the dialog. As others have commented I have to Force stop. I then loose all edits.
When it is locked up this way, even trying to do anything, the Bluegriffen OS/X menu bar is unresponsive. I have to shift focus to Finder and can then do a Force Quit.
I also noticed that if I make a copy of the file first, with a new name, then I can open, edit, and simply "Save" instead of using "Save As". Using "Save" does not hang.
But I know I am going to forget to use this work-around and will get caught with lost edits again.
